Robert Schumann was born in Germany, in 1810. He was the son of a German bookseller. Schumann wanted to be a musician from an early age, but his parents wanted him to be a lawyer and persuaded him to go to the law school.When he was a child, he started learning music with the town musicians. -

During his childhood he lived in Germany. He was sent to Leizpig to study law. He continued studying piano and composition in Heidelberg and Italy. He worked all over Europe. -
