The Decemberist Revolt
Due to people rebeling, the "Decemberists", Imperial Russian Army brought out three hundred thousand men, to kill everyone. This happened near St. Petersburg, and in 1925, an area was renamed St. Petersburg Square where this went down. -
Nicholas becames czar of Russia
After Alexander the Second was assassinated. Czr Nicholas came to the throne. He will be the last czar of Russia. His "term" was from 1881 to 1917. He was forced to abdicate his throne and was then killed by a group of men and thenn he was buried with the rest of his fdamily including his wife and children. -
The Russo- Japanese War
This war started when the Japanese Army lauche an attack on Russia. They did this by plaaning an attack on Port Arthur that belonged to the Russians. The Russians later won the Trans- Siberian Railroad from the Japs and won very important territory. -
Bloody Sunday
Bloody Sunday was obviously given its name because it was very bloody. On a Sunday, demonstrators that were led by Father Gapon were fired upon while marching to the czar. They were shot by the Imperial guard. -
Russian Involvement in WW1
During this time, Germany was to be Russia's biggest threat. In this time, 1914, the Russian army was the largest. The Battle of Tannenburg was a battle that lasted three days long. The German's lost 20,000 men, but managed to capture 92,000 men. -
The March Revolution
This was a day in March where a revoluton was happpening in now called St. Petersburg. In the making, the Imperial parliament no had control of the government, and they then made the Provisioonal Government. -
Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
Even though Nicholas the Second has been ruler since 1894, he is forced to abdicate his throne by Petrogrd insurgents. Later, a provisional government would take his place. -

The Russian Civil War started in 1917 and went to 1922. Many Russian empires fought. Also, after the Russian Revolutions, the fights destroyed the political future. -

The creation of the USSR was created on Decemebr 30th of 1922. It was creaated with a treaty called "The creation of the USSR". haha The USSR was the first empire to have Marxist socialism. -
