    Nicholas II became the new czar of Russia on May 26, 1894. He inherited the throne after his father, Alexander III died from kidney failure. The russian population welcomed him in with open arms and supported their new czar. With becoming a czar Nicholas II quickly found out that the russian society thought you were god.
