    People wanted to protest in a pacific way, but the Tsar sent the army to kill all the protestants and end with the moaning of the people, who were demanding basic rights. At the end, the only success of that revolution was the creation of the State Duma.

    Nicholas II had a major stepback at the battlefront, and lost many men, wasted resources, and basically destroyed the Empire, so he was told that it was better to abdicate. He decided to do so.

    Lenin returned to Russia after almost 20 years in exile, and tok control of the Bolshevik part of the party. He fought against the White Army in the Russian Civil War, and won, so the communists took control of Russia in 1921.
