Decembrist Revolt
The decembrist revolt happend because when the Czar Alexander 1 died everyone thought that Constantine would heir to the throne. He publicly anounced he wouldn't take the trone and that his brother Nicholas II would. The acual revolt consisted on about 3,000 army officers that didn't want Nicholas to take the throne. They were surrounded by oldiers and since they wouldn't leave fire upon and many were killed. -
Nicholas II czar of Russia
When Nicholas II was crowned he really wasn't trained to rule. Realy he just liked it because he hed riches to hangout with his family. He wanted to keep the counntry governed in a way where the czar still had all the power and didn't want to westernize. But he lacked the ability to know how to do these things. -

The Russo-Japanese War was a brutal war. Russia and japan were fighting eachother of manchura and Korea. Russia thought that they could easaly crush Japan becuase of there superior numbers of troops, but in teh end Japan had one the war. After the war Russia had over 400 thousand caualties. -
Bloody Sunday
Father Gregory Gapon was leading a unarmed peacful protest into St. Petersburg. The military officials there got frustrated and tried to make them leave. After they refures to leave he had soldiers surround them and fire into the croud killing many. This gave Nicholas II the name Bloody Nick -

This revolution was focused on petrograd. During the caos the Duma took control and set up a temporary goverment. -
Nicholas II Abdocates the Throne
When the temporary government took over Nicholas II was forced too abdocate. He was forced to abdocate because the garrison of soldiers at petrodrad joinded the striking workers. -

The Russian Civil war was between the reds and the whites. The bolsheveks were the reds who were led by lenin. The reds were the molcheveks. -
Creation of The USSR
During the Civil war lenin had complete control over the solviets. All levels of control were held by the communists. -
Lenins Death
He was 54 years old when he died. Doctors originaly think he died of syphilis but because of recent sturies on his body they think that stalin poisend him.
