Quality is constrained due to lifting heavy vessels. cost is accepted, Making time a trade off as it took 70 years to complete.
  • Rideau Canal

    Rideau Canal
    Rideau Canal work started in the fall of 1826 for military measure undertaken by government, and it was completed by the spring of 1832, it is 19kms long which connects 202kms stretching Kingston and Ottawa. Rideau Canal is very unique, as there is only one canal received a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 2007 and Guinness World Record for largest skate way. It is useful for the cyclist, skaters and for transportation via boating. The cost was £8,22,804.

    Welland Canal is 43 km long connecting Lake Ontario and Lake Erie constructed by Hiram Tibbetts with maximum boat length 740 ft and maximum boat beam 78 ft, it had first trail run on 30th November 1829 and extended to renovate and opened in 1833. It is a unique project and temporary.

It provide service to Canadian navy as war ship for five years and remaining time as cruise ship, an Armed Merchant Cruiser,an A/A cruiser,a refugee transport,and finally,a ocean liner.It has fixed quality and optimized time,cost can be trade-off.

    The Trans-Canada Highway is the longest national highway in the world. Starting at British Columbia,Canada and finishes St.John’s Newfoundland Canada.Took many years to formally begin due to funding.The project was originally executed by many of the people of Canada.The highway provides a shift in traffic.It is only going to be built once,may need repairs over time it will never be fully rebuilt again. The largest national highway worldwide making it unique and special to Canada.

    This is the Primary airport for Edminton, Alberta, and Northern Canada.Although it is constantly having extensions added, the original terminal is still in use.Currently run by Edmonton Regional Airports Authority.Quality is constrained as it needs to be able to stand with planes coming in and out, time is accepted as but can be changed if Quality is affected, and cost is a trade off as they are have had many extensions and currently in process now.

    The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high concrete tower in downtown Toronto, Canada made by Canada Lands Company, The project became official in 1972 and ends in June, 1976. As it was planned for 4 years so it was a temporary and planned project. It is the only tower which consumes lighting which absorbs and utilize, they have lighting system which changes the look every time and makes it unique. There are plenty of hotels, and adventure like edge walk is possible. Total costs about CAN $ 63,000,000.

    Is to run as a hospital in Ontario.Has many health facilities including cancer, Heart and Kidney care.It the first Hospital public-private hospital running in the region.Ellis Don-Carillion JV was responsible for the construction of this project. Time was accepted although the original end date had been pushed back, making cost a trade off having the community, hospital and province contributing to costs, this leave quality as the fixed area, due to lives at risk
  • Royal Ontario Museum

    Royal Ontario Museum
    Royal Ontario Museum was established in 1912 and then renovated with its new of Michael Lee Chin Crystal which consists of art and Natural History. Michael Lee Chin Crystal composed of five interlocking self-supporting prismatic structures that co-exist but are not attached to the original ROM building, except for the bridges that link them which makes it a unique project and temporary. Daniel Libeskind designed the structure and lead the team.

    The project was started in 1986 owned by British Columbia Pavilion Corporation and ended in 2009. It consist 220,500 square feet of convention space, this project planned for 20 years fixed term and it was temporary and planned. It was awarded twice by Apex Award for the "World's Best Congress Centre”, It has dividable exhibition hall, 20 meeting rooms, plus they organized trade shows, trade expo, conferences and exhibitions. Total cost of making Vancouver convection Centre was $883.2 million.

    Two villages were constructed to house competing athletes.One in Whistler and one in Vancouver.Started by Vancouver 2010 to create these villages.The main reason for construction was to minimise environmental harm.The villages were only built to house for the 2010 Olympics, so will not be able to rebuilt for the same purpose. Making it unique and temporary.Outcome being having two villages close to all arenas.

    Vancouver International Airport is situated at Richmond, British Columbia which is the second busiest airport in Canada. The Architecture of Vancouver Airport was executed by Stantec Architecture Ltd.
    It is a unique project with its British Columbian Theme and the project was planned and executed. The project deliverable was to have Airport with British Columbian theme and can handle about 22.3 million passengers

    The Royal Alberta Museum due to open end of 2017.The Museum will hold the history of Alberta which is a popular tourist province in Western Canada.The province is currently providing majority of the funding.It may undergo repairs but the museum will only be built once,It has a start and finish date.As it is the largest museum in western Canada also makes it very unique and hard to replicate.The outcome will be a cultural attraction significant to Alberta and western Canada.

    The project Meikle Wind Energy (“Meikle Wind”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pattern Energy Group LP “Pattern Development”.It has been planned to complete within three years of time limit and has unique features of producing 185 megawatt power which is the largest wind facility in British Colombia and providing clean energy to power 54,000 homes and Conserves enough water to meet the needs of about 8,700 people.It can be fixed in quality and optimized in cost, time can be trade-off.
