A street fight which led to the death of 5 colonists killed by Bristish Army Soldiers. -

The main purpose of this act was to reduce the amount of tea that the British East India Company had. -

This was a meeting of delegates from the thirteen colonies. This group became the governing body during the American Revolution. -

This was the first battle of the American Revolution. It took place in Middlesex County, a province of Massachusetts Bay. -
Bunker Hill
A battle during the American Revolutionary War. The original objective of both sides was to capture Bunker Hill. -
Appeal to Reason Rejected
This affirmed America's loyalty to Great Britain. This was done to try to avoid war. -
Common Sense
A pamphlet written by Thomas Paine. This piece of writing inspired the thirteen colonies to fight for their independence. -
Declaration of Independence
A written statement declaring that the thirteen colonies were no longer a part of the British Empire.
