    Who issued it: King George III Who did it affect: colonists, French, and Natives What did the Proclamation do to the colonies?: it prevented the colonists from settling west of the Appalachia How is this a cause that led to war?: the natives where not able to the use there land which made them mad and wanted to rebel and take back there land.

    How did it affect the colonists? The colonists could not smuggle sugar as easy as with the British enforcing the laws more, it also effected the economy. How is this a cause that led to war?: the colonists where angry that they couldn't have as much sugar as before.
