  • The Townshend Acts

    England passes The Townshend Acts, now all of the colonists had to pay a tax to England when they bought tea, glass, cloth and paper.

  • Boston Massacre

    Colonists started rioting in the streets, one day someone from the crowd grabbed one of the British soldiers muskets, the gun went off, the soldiers thought they were being attacked so they fired into the crowd, killing five and injuring six.
  • Boston Tea Party

    December 16, 1773 The Sons Of Liberty (a secret group fighting against the taxes) decided to do something big, they were going to board a ship full of tea from England dressed as natives to dump the tea into the Boston Harpor
  • Washington Crosses The Delaware

    The was freezing with chunks of ice in it, most of the soldiers were barefoot and some dead. The night heroic George Washington crossed the Delaware River, the tide of the war changed, on Christmas night he surrounded the city of Trenton, many of his soldiers where dead from frostbite, and it was a famous battle he won.
  • End Of Revolutionary War

    Finally the war came to an end when we captured the British at Yorktown, they surrendered and Richard Oswald and David Hartley signed the treaty.
