  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    On April 5, 1764, in the US, the British Parliament passed the Sugar Act to increase revenue and decrease debt form the French and Indian War. Also to address smuggling of sugar into different colonies. The act said anything with sugar costed more to buy to collect taxes.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    On March 22, 1765, in Britain and America, the Stamp Act was passed because the colonists complained about the Sugar Act so they came up with a tax where they pay themselves. The act said that all colonists are supposed to pay a fair act that even the British paid.The Prime Minister George Greenville was involved in the act.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    On May 17, 1765, in America and Great Britain The Quartering Act was passed. This act was passed for the British soldiers to have shelter to protect them from French man, the Native Americans and to protect the colonial interests. The act said to enforce the Proclamation line of 1763 and other parliamentary acts.
  • The Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act
    On June 29, 1767, the Townshend Act was passed because the colonists were unhappy with the British taxation and also to stop the smuggling. The act said the soldiers had to search the house therefore stretching the power of British solders. This act was passed in America and Charles Townsend was involved.

    The Tea Act
    On May 10, 1773, in america and East India, The Tea Act was passed to stop colonists from smuggling tea without a tax. The act was passed by the parliament and the act said that the parliament can help East India company by granting them a monopoly on sales in the colonies.
  • Boston Port Act

    Boston Port Act
    On March 31, 1774, in Massachusetts, the Boston Port Act was passed by King George the Third because Britain was beginning to lose control of the Thirteen Colonies. The act said that nothing can be shipped from Massachusetts.
  • MA Government Act and the Administration of Justice Act

    MA Government Act and the Administration of Justice Act
    On May 20, 1774, passed in Great Britain but meant for Massachusetts, King George the III realized that Britain was beginning to lose control of the Thirteen Colonies. The Parliament of Great Britain said No meeting shall be called without the leave of the governor.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    On June 22, 1774, the act was passed to extend the territory of Quebec. This act was passed In Quebec and the British Parliament passed this act. The act said that all land has been apart of the Newfoundland made it apart of the providence of Quebec.
