  • Suger act

    British needed funds-in debt-the best way to get money was to tax the American Coloney's. The French was beating England in war over and over which resulted in the nervousness. They were taxing the colonys before but had never realy collected anything. After war the british were detirmened to get there money so they placed a large tax on Suger.
  • The Stamp Act Contreversy

    Then the british placed a tax on stamps and any other pieces of paper
  • The Townsend acts

    There began to be tension between the american colonies and great britin. This all occured after the stamp act. Charels Townsend convinced the king to tax the colonists even more to pay for salaries of colonial goverment.
  • Sons of Liberty

    This was a time of American revolution. The sons of liberty were basically street people who oposed the british. It was an outrage against the british tax acts. (There were a lot)
