    Alternative Energy Implementation and Feasibility

  • Bazen

Integrating solar technology into the poultry industry is possible but too costly, but is expected to become more affordable in a few years.
  • Lund

Lund, Henrik. “The implementation of renewable energy systems. Lessons learned from the Danish case.” Energy. 35.10. October 2010: 4003-4009. Print. Implementing renewable energy sources is possible and affordable but under the condition that the government is involved in regulating and subsidizing the projects, and the citzens support whichever energy source is being implemented.

Theoretically, using the difference in heat from the different water layers in large bodies of water can be used to produce energy, while the surrounding environment will cool a few degrees as a result and reduce the amount of energy used for air conditioning nominally. Processing plants and water collection systems need to be built in order to implement this technology.
  • Leighty

Switching to energy derived from gaseous reactions is too costly when compared to other alternatives because a complete change of infrastructure is required for such a system.
  • Silva

By changing the source of water used for irrigation and the way in which the water is drained, water consumption can be reduced greatly in urban areas, reducing energy consumption. It is more focused on energy conservation rather than alternative ways to produce energy.
  • Zhao

“Review of energy storage system for wind power integration support.” With improvements in energy storage systems via battery technology and processing plant efficiency, the yeilds of wind plants could greatly increase. This technology could also be applied to other alternative energy sources, and make them more efficient and less costly.
