    FDR and Churchill met on the USS Augusta to discuss the outcome of the war. They signed together, the Atlantic Charter which pledged cooperation and freedom of the seas, disarmament, collective security, self-determination and economic cooperation. It was also a joint declaration of war aims. The United States is now further choosing to support the allies instead of the axis powers.
