Research case studies of real music magazines
Completed- I researched some magazines. I then analysed all of the front page, contents page and double page spread. I analysed a rock magazine and a RnB magazine. -
Preliminary task
Completed- I made a plan on how I was going to make my magazine for my prelim task. I drew out a plan and then uploaded it to blogger. I then made my front page and contents page and I made a questionnaire so I could get some audience feedback. -
Audience feedback and evaluation prelim- college magazine
Completed- I made a questionnaire with 5 questions on it. I decided to ask them a variety of questions. I got feedback from 4 people. I then wrote an evaluation on how I could improve due to my audience feedback. -
Magazine newsstand task/distribution of magazines
Completed- I went to a store and took a picture of a magazine newsstand. I then evaluated the way the magazines were placed and organised. I then wrote about the distribution of Kerrang magazines. -
Drafting and finalizing house styles, drafts and layouts
Completed- I have now drafted my house styles and the layout for the magazine. -
Audience research task
Completed- I have got feedback from the audience with a variety of questions for me to answer. -
Photography -
Completed- I went to the photorgaphy studio twice. I done one with a white backdrop in colour, and one with a black backdrop in colour and black and white. I have also done my additional photography which will be used on my contents page. -
Desk top publishing and editing your music magazine
Completed- I have shown the development for all of my magazine. I have shown the development throughout the front page, contents page and the double page spread. I have shown how I have developed and changed things over time. -
Audience research-main task/music magazine
Completed- I presented my pitch for my magazine. I had a variety of different questions to answer. I then used these questions to reflect on my work. I then answered these questions in detail. -
Planning the evaluation
Completed- I have now begun to plan how my evaluation will be. I am planning how I will be answering my questions. I am planning which technologies I will be using to present my evaluation. -
Creating the evaluation
I have now decided on which technologies I will be using my the questions of my evaluation. I am now adding the questions to the appropriate technoloiges.
