Crimean War with Russia begins
This was a military conflict where Russia lost to the Ottoman Empire, United Kingdom, Sardinia, and an ally of France. The nationalism of Russia was growing which threatened the Ottoman Empire. Also, both Russia and France were trying to defend Christian shrines and Holy Land which caused conflict. -
Russo-Turkish War Begins
There was a conflict with Ottoman Empire and Eastern Othodox alliance of Balkan countries and Russian Empire. As a result of these wars, Russia expanded its borders because of its victory. This came along with the Treaties of Berlin and San Stefano which dealt witht the affairs of eastern settlements allowing Russia to expand. -
World War One begins
This was a global war that was centered in Europe. It was the Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Ottoman Empire against aliied forces of Great Britain, United States, France, Russia, Italy, and Japan. The new technology was intorduced in war which resulted in more than 9 million deaths!!!!
