    In 1920 the League of Nations meet up. This was a group of countries who got together to discuss what to do with this very harsh war. The League of Natioms brought a positive impact to World War 1.

    In 1905 a revolution broke out that was called Bloody Sunday. It was in St. Petersburg and Czar Nicholas quickly stopped this harsh fighting.     On October 24, 1929 the stock market crashed. This created chaos throughout society. It caused people to lose jobs and to be homeless. It was a start of a time period known as The Great Depression

    On September 3, 1939 France and Great Britain declare war on Germany. This caused major conflict because everyone wanted Germany to also be defeated. This caused a start to World War 2.

    On September 22, 1940 Germany, Italy, and Japan sign the Tripartite Pact creating the Axis Alliance. This set up an agreement between these countries to try to settle things down. Having this Pact created unity.

    On May 7, 1945 Germany surrenders to the Allies. They know they lost the war and decided to stay out of more heat by just surrendering. The allies worked very hard to end a powerhouse country like Germany and they were finally successful.

    On February 4-11 1945 the Cold War begins at the Yalta Conference meeting of FDR, Churchill, Stalin. The Soviet Union has control over Eastern Europe. This was a period of hatred between countries and everyone wanted to be the strongest country.

    On June of 1947 the Marshall Plan is announced setting a precedent for helping countries combat poverty, disease and malnutrition. This plan helped groups like the Jews escape from Germany. It was very successful and truly help people and their families with their lives and made it positive.

    On August 13, 1961 the Berlin Border is closed. Closing this border made people very upset and they tried at their best rate to escape from the border even if they had to dig underground. This caused many people to revolt and want to leave more than they ever wanted to.

    On October of 1964 atomic bombs were developed by China. This was a bad sign because using atomic bombs is very dangerous and a large country like China is now developing them which people worry a lot. Doing this caused more atomic bomb threats and attacks because countries thought if one country is doing it they should all do it.

    On August of 1991 the Soviet Union came to an end and the Cold War had finally ended. This time of hatred lasted a very long time and that was due to a power struggle. Everyone wanted to be the most powerful and wanted nothing to do with other countries. Doing this caused multiple countries to hate each other and cause major conflict in our world.

    In December the hiring rates decreased by multiple percentages. This caused people to die from hunger and to live very tough lives. Banks started to fail also which reduced the money supply because there was less credit available.

    On June 22, 1941 Germany and the Axis Powers attack Russia with a huge force of over four million troops. This caused major heat between these countries. Many soldiers died in fighting Russia and Russia was not happy about getting attacked once again.

    On December 7, 1941 The Japanese attack the US Navy in Pearl Harbor. The next day the US enters World War II on the side of the Allies. The US needed to take a stand and protect the country since it was a pretty powerful country.
