    Odette was born in the Congo in Africa.
    Left the Congo 1n 1977. Moved to Cairo, Egypt and let there in 1984..

    In 1984 Odette left Cairo, Egypt to go to Khartoum, Sudan. I was married in 1986 in Khartoum, Sudan. My husband and I stayed in Khartoum until 1987.

    My husband and I arrived in Baghdad, Iraq during the Iraq-Iran War. My husband was the First Consul the Congo. As a result of the war between Iraq and Iran, we had to leave Baghdad to travel to Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. This occurred in 1989.

    We had to leave Jiddah, Saudi Arabia, because we were Christians; therefore, we moved to Damascus, Syria. We lived in Damascus until 1994.

    My husband and I traveled back to Khartoum, Sudan. We remained in Khartoum until 1997, and moved to Beirut, Lebanon.We moved as aresult of the political unrest in our home country of The Congo. My husband was not granted permission to reside in the Congolese Embassy in Khartoum,

    My husband asked for exile from Beirut, Lebanon to the United States. Wecould not go back to the Congo, because of a change in politicals regimes. Our rquest was accepted and we arrived safe and sound in Tucson, Arizona, USA.
