    Noam Chromsky was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on December 7th, 1928 to Elsie and William Chromsky. Both of which were Ukrainian, Jewish immigrants.

    When Chromsky was only 10 years old, he published his first article. It was for the school newspaper, but was way ahead his time. It pointed out key events in the Spanish Civil War the lead to the rise of fascism across Europe. It was so exhaustive, he used it 30 years later for research he was doing

    At age 16 he attended the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving a Masters in Arts focusing on linguistics. From there, he attended Harvard University from 1951 to 1955. While there, he was accepted into the society of fellows.

    In 1951 he wrote, "The Morphophonemics of Modern Hebrew" as his thesis. In this thesis, he attempted to give a complete set of rules to the Hebrew language.

    Immediately following the attack on the twin towers, Chomsky assembled interviews and editorials opposing the decision to fight back. He claimed that the “eye for and eye” tactic of national defense would only crate more deaths from this action.
