    Politics
Chomsky's interest in politics started when he was still at the University of Pennsylvania. He was considering dropping out for the purpose to pursue politics. He was pushed towards linguistics and that is where his politics stem from. Chomsky got pulled into politics more when he acquired funding from the military for his language research. Being an anarchist this brings controversy, and he had to prove himself. He needed to keep his stances consistence between language and politics.
  • Linguistics

    Linguistics
Chomsky studied language development through children. He believed that an infant has the innate ability for language skills that would need developed. This goes to include accents. An accent must be taught while a child is still young otherwise it would be like a
person who is not native to that language. Chomsky's theories of linguistic is what's called "generative". Meaning with certain parameters that are in us we are able to create new sentences or phrases, to say things in our own words.

Chomsky is known as political activist in America. His beliefs are more about US's foreign policies and how they are destroying us, how politicians are dangerous and manipulative, and media manipulates the people. He doesn't believe in no government or chaos, but believes that we (the US) should not get involved and "pay attention to our own crimes". Through this video he keeps asking what " the just cause is" for our military actions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Leay8-VGFM&feature=youtu.be
