Simon Wiesenthal hired a spy named Henry Van Diamant to get a picture of Adolf Eichmann. Diamant courted all of Eichmanns previous girlfriends to get a picture of him. One day he courted Eichamnn's ex-girlfriend Maria Mosenbacher who then showed a picture of Adolf in his thirties -
The bus by the terminal
Yaakov Got flew into Argentine. When Yaakov landed he decided not to take a taxi because he knew the taxi driver will forget where he dropped him off at. Yaakov decided to take the bus. When he boarded the bus there was no bus driver in sight and so he decided to wait for a few and 20 minutes went by and still no bus driver he started to get worried and was thinking the worse of all the situations. Gat was convinced something went wrong. -
A night on Garibaldi St.
There were men waiting in the dark for someone on the bus. He had no idea that they had done some recon and were waiting for him. -
The help
Isser Harel was working so hard on trying to capture Eichmann that it got to the point where his job was revolved around trying to capture him and meetings at coffee shops. From Isser Harel going to too many coffee shops, he ended up getting sick because of the caffeine and because Harel was becoming sleep depreived meaning he wouldn't rest till he saw Eichmann in jail for everything that he did. -
Eichmann has been captured
When Tabor and Malkin caught Eichmann, they had thrown him in the back of the car telling him to be quiet and not to say anything or else he will be shot. Malkin had asked Eichmann what language he spoke and in perfect German, he said " I am already resigned to my fate" what Eichmann meant by this was that he knew that he couldn't keep going on the run and that it wasn't going to be a happy ending. Eichmann had finally stopped fighting and is ready to accept his punishment for all the crimes. -
Capture goes wrong
The Argentine protocol office was not prepared to welcome the Israeli Delegation before May 19, a week later than they had expected. They thought that they would have to hold Eichmann for 10 days or postpone the capture which they don't wanna do. If they postpone the capture they are missing out on so much stuff and help that they can use to capture him. If they hold him for 10 days he might be able to escape or it's too long of a time period to hold a criminal. -
The advantages of the diplomats
When Tabor and Malkin were transporting Eichmann they had a Diplomat plate, meaning that they don't have to have police search them because they are from another country. Sometimes they get a certain amount of immunity and special treatment vs. other people can't have that treatment.
