    Ultrasound, also called sonography, uses sound waves to develop ultrasound images of what's going on inside the body. An instrument called a transducer emits high-frequency sound, inaudible to human ears, and then records the echoes as the sound waves bounce back to determine the size, shape, and consistency of soft tissues and organs. According to my mother, I was 5 months in her womb when she went to the doctor for an ultrasound. There she found out that I was a girl.

    Camera is a device for recording visual images in the form of photographs, film, or video signals. From the moment I got outside the labor room my family took pictures of me. I was pretty photogenic back then and everyone thought that I was cute.

    A television is an electronic system of transmitting transient images of fixed or moving objects together with sound over a wire or through space by apparatus that converts light and sound into electrical waves and reconverts them into visible light rays and audible sound. The television was my source of entertainment when I was young. I watched soap operas every night. I also liked watching cartoons on television; Dora, Spongebob, Tom & Jerry, Mr. Bean, Naruto, Dragonball and many more.

    An almanac is an annual publication that includes information like weather forecasts, farmers' planting dates, tide tables, and other tabular data often arranged according to the calendar. When I was 3 years old we had a store named after me. There was a customer that left an Almanac for Kids at the counter. My grandmother gave it to me and that was my first book. I was a bright kid that already knew how to read. I memorized the periodic table of elements and the capital of countries.

I listen to the radio when I'm in the car with my family. Whenever the television isn't available I stay tune on the news updates with it.

    A Mobile phone is a portable telephone that sends and receives radio signals through a network of short-range transmitters located in overlapping cells throughout a region, with a central station making connections to regular telephone lines. My uncle owned a Nokia 3310 that I always borrowed. I enjoyed playing Space Impact in it. My uncle and I always competed for the high score and he always beats me. It was also useful because he could use it to call my mother whenever I missed her.

    Storybook is a book that contains a story or stories, especially for children. When I was 8 years old I became fond of storybooks. I loved cartoon characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Spongebob Squarepants and Mickey Mouse. I didn't liked Disney princesses that much. In this story book I learned that the sun does not disappear. It's just that the world rotates in its axis. For a third grader that information was helpful for my knowledge.

    Cinema is a theater where films are shown for public entertainment. When I was 7 years old I watched Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz's movie in the big screen entitled "A Very Special Love." Watching a film together with my family was fun. The sound system in a cinema is different when I watch movies at home.

    Friendster was a social gaming site based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was originally a social networking service website. Before Friendster was redesigned, the service allowed users to contact other members, maintain those contacts, and share online content and media with those contacts. I can't even recall why I created a Friendster account in the first place. I just remember that I played online MMORPG games there and my only friends were my family members.

    A telephone is a telecommunications device that permits two or more users to conduct a conversation when they are too far apart to be heard directly. During my elementary days I would always call my mother via pay phone to tell her that my class is dismissed. I would sometimes then be fetched by my grandmother. When I reached 6th grade I would call her to tell her that I'm already going home by myself. Calling someone is convenient, easier and faster than messaging them.

    Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. Facebook was were I played games and view funny posts from people. I played FarmVille, FarmTown and Tetris Battle with my friends. I also chat with them about our homeworks. I've seen how Facebook kept on evolving and I still use it until now.

    A laptop is a portable computer, usually battery-powered, small enough to rest on the user's lap and having a screen that closes over the keyboard. When I was in Grade 4, my mother bought me a netbook. I used it for doing projects using Microsoft Office. I also played games in it like Plants vs. Zombies. I gained access to the world wide web including social networking sites and educational sites. Through the years I have owned around 4 laptops. They keep on breaking due to my carelessness.

    A newspaper is a printed publication consisting of folded unstapled sheets and containing news, feature articles, advertisements, and correspondence. When I was in fourth grade, we discussed about the parts of a newspaper in my English class. I asked my mother to buy me a newspaper. There I found out that newspapers provides us important information. It also has an entertainment section that I am fond of , the comics section.

    Game Boy is a handheld game console, made by the company Nintendo. When I was 10 years old, I had a neighbor that owned a gameboy. I watched him play Pokemon and Donkey Kong. He lets me borrow it time after time and that made me happy. I wanted my mother to buy me one but she said that it would only distract me from my studies.

    YouTube is a video sharing service that allows users to watch videos posted by other users and upload videos of their own. I watch YouTube videos to listen to music, to watch funny videos and to learn academic concepts. I spend a lot of time on YouTube.I subscribe to my favorite YouTube channels like CongTV, CrashCourse and TheVampsVevo.

    A smartphone is a mobile phone that performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded applications. I was in 7th grade when I had my own smartphone. My grandfather gave it to me. With a smartphone I was able to text,call and take pictures when I was in school or a trip with my family.

I used to go to computer shops just to print my assignments. But now I have my own printer and it can be used wireless. The printer that I use is worth its price. The thing I don't like much about it is that the ink is quite expensive.

    Wattpad is an amazing website where you can share stories that you've written, read and comment on other people's works. Wattpad is truly an amazing website to read stories by authors for free. I discovered it when I was in 7th grade. I'm guilty of staying up late just to finish a book that I like. I tried to write my own story but I ran out of brain juice to publish a creative story so I deleted it.

    Messenger is an application that allows users to instantly send chat messages to friend on Facebook. Messenger lets me connect with my family and friends when we are apart. Whenever I have questions I could just chat my friends, when I miss them I sometimes video call them. Staying up for hours just to catch up with them or how their day went is something that I appreciate the most.
