the day i was born
On January 10th,1998. i was born in Camden new jersey at 5:21pm. funny story, my mom thought i was supposed to be a boy through out her whole pregnancy. up until that day came, and she had more than a little surprise. it's a girl!!!!! -
five years later
an important event that has happened to me when i was five years old, was my first day of school. i was entering kindergarten. i was one of those kids that would cry for my mom, begging her not to leave. i eventually got over it, and did pretty well through out the day. i remember i had all my favorite things with me. my barbie book bag, my favorite scented markers, my favorite snacks, even had my favorite socks. this was important to me because it taught me how to be independent. -
when i was 10 years old
when i was 10 years old, a huge event came to my life. i was in the forth grade, and i had to move from Bristol to Pureto Rico. I had to leave everything I had. My friends, My school,and most importantly My dad and older sister. Had to start a whole new life as a kid some where else. -
My little brother is coming!
So we moved back from Puerto Rico, and my mom was pregnant with my little brother that i was extremely excited about! On December 29,2009 he finally arrived and from that moment on, I never had so much love for someone.He drives me crazy sometimes but he's my best friend. -
going into high school
My freshman year of high school I was in new jersey. I went to a school called Leap Academy high school. let's just say the school system in jersey is a lot different then it is in pennsylvania. espcially when it comes to the rules and teachers. I was bullied my freshman year, for many things. Which i find very annoying, but it explained why I was the person I was when i first came to truman. A very loud, obnoxious kid trying to prove a point to not pick on me. -
junior year
junior year was probably one of the worst years of my high school years ever. i went through a lot of personal things at school and at home. i dont know how i made it but i knoe i eventually did. i told myself i had to pull it all together and gain enough strength to at least make it to the 12th grade. -
last year of high school
So coming into this year, i had to come in with entirely different mind set. i started this school year with a whole knew family, which i am very thankful for but it is a lot harder then you might think. living with an entirely knew family is not a lot of what you dont expect because eventually no one knows you or understands you like your own family. but thats besides the point, it made this year a lot harder to focus on things because i didn't have the support i needed which is hard. -
getting my first car
getting my first car was not as easy as i thought, the amount of money i saved up for wasn't easy either. so working at a pizza shop and having to save up at least 2800 for a decent looking car, wasn't so helpful. by the time i did get my car i noticed who my real friends were. it suddenly went from long talks and hang outs to just getting them from point A to point B. -
moving to georgia soon
i made the decision to be with my real family after high school. i think one person i miss dearly is my mother, my little brother and my twin sisters. it's time for me to start a whole new chapter in my life rather than staying in little old levittown. i can start a whole new life there.New job,new people, new schools. i'll miss a lot of people in my life that i'll be leaving behind. but as my mom always told me, that if i am not happy with something, to change it. so hopefully this will be good -
graduation
graduation is coming very quickly. I didnt think id make it this far with everything ive gone through but i did. graduation is a big step for me and im sure it is for everyone that is graduating this year. But it'll prove to my family (my dad side of the family) that i made it through high school not pregnant, and also worked for the things i have now, and that i did it all on my own. i wasnt going to prove anyone right and now ive made it this far. two more weeks! life really starts from here.
