Representative Democracy
A representative democracy was first present in the United States. Each state had representatives which voiced the opinions of the people in the state. The people would express their opinion about a law and share their vote with the state representatives. The state representatives would take all votes into consideration and then vote their opinion to the higher government. -
National Uprising
The people of each state started getting frustrated with their state representatives. It seemed as though the bias' and morals of the state representatives were affecting their overall vote. The representatives all together stopped listening to the people. This, one-by-one, started happening to each and every state. The people of the states got together to form a rebellion. The people held a convention where they discussed their plan to attack the government. Later, the government had collapsed. -
Chaos
For ten years after the collapse, America ran amuck. There was complete and utter chaos among the land. Children stopped attending school, people were committing large crimes, and the economy was crashed. There was no order. -
Recollection
After ten years of struggle, a man by the name of Bill Banks decided there needed to be some sort of order. Banks gathered the people of Texas and told them a solution. Many Texans were tired of a lack of government and sought out structure. The other states didn't want a government. Banks proposed a plan which catered to all of the states. He proposed a direct democracy. This would allow everyone's opinions to be heard but there would still be a strong centralized government. -
Unity
A few weeks had passed and everyone was working together to form their government. Along with deciding the layout of the new government, everyone was working out their improved Constitution and other laws. Their direct democracy was falling into place.
