In that year, the most abundant and famous form of media used is television. A type of media wherein you get to watch series of dramas, useful news segments, and commercials that even up to this day is a great source of entertainment and information. PERSONAL INSIGHT: Whenever I get to watch T.V. during those times, it seems like a flower that I cannot take my eyes off. It somehow brings me joy, contentment and wonder. -
GAMEBOY ADVANCE
An entertainment gaming console that is as big as your hand. Very easy to pick up and take to long travels for killing time. PERSONAL INSIGHT: I very much enjoyed this high-tech toy! It's so cool and graphical and I think I would still play with it I I were given one. -
PLAYSTATION
Another type of console exclusively for playing games. Disks containing the games' program are being inserted to play the game. PERSONAL INSIGHT: A great bonding experience with my friends, siblings, and parents. A really good reward whenever I did something good (because I'm only allowed to play it when I do something that pleased my mother, hehe). -
LETTER
A piece of handwriting containing messages that is usually kept inside a plain or designed envelope. PERSONAL INSIGHT: I'm actually exposed to this when I flirt with my crush back then, and luckily, my crush sends me one too! Hihi...
And also, when my friend Janna apologizes to me, she usually try to convey it through a letter. -
YAHOO MESSENGER
Form of media wherein you get to have contact with your past friends, relatives, seniors, foreigners, and other people. PERSONAL INSIGHT: My mother is actually the one who exposed me to this. I'm always sitting beside her whenever she's talking with her foreigner friends online. It's so much fun because those foreigners are actually really funny and handsome. I find those moments really special and unforgettable, that's why this media has a certain impact to me as a person. -
FACEBOOK
A social networking site that makes it easy for you to connect and share things with your family and friends offline. PERSONAL INSIGHT: VERY FUN, and depressing at the same time. I get to know interesting stuffs, and get to know things which make me sad. Overall, a very bipolar app for me. -
MESSENGER
Media platform where you can text, call, video call, and stay intact with your friends. A great app for convenient chatting. PERSONAL INSIGHT:To be honest, the built in chat box in the facebook before was already enough. But messenger makes chatting a lot more fun! With added features such as chat colors, games, nicknames, and group photos, talking online with your friends has become more interactive . But sadly, this app also promotes the idea of ignoring other people's messages (inbox zone)
