Religion was also huge, there were many preachers at that time like Anne Hutchinson. She preached about how any christian is free from morals. There were also wars like the Powhatan war where Indians fought for their land.

This is also the era where they believed in witches and magic.

    Slaves were a still huge deal at this time and there were codes for slaves, mostly African Americans. Slaves didn't like the way they were treated and there were times where slaves had uprisings against their owners. This was also when Carolina separated into North and South Carolina. Another huge part is the Great Awakening where people became more religious than ever and there were preachers preaching everywhere. People would also be punished if they didn't believe in their religion.

The Boston Massacre occurs, British troops fired into a Boston mob. Patrick Henry gives a speech to gain support for the Independence, and "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" about. The war for independence begins and the United States becomes independent.

President Jackson had the Indians removed from their land at relocated. In 1848, gold was discovered in California and the Gold Rush came in 1849.
