    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War was also known as the Seven Years' War.The war was fought in Europe from 1754-1763. The war was fought between the long-term rivals France and England. The english colonies population grew rapidly pushing further west taking over the french colonies was one of the many causes of the French and Indian War.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    At the end of the French and Indian war the Proclamation of 1763 was issued by the British to appease Native Americans. The proclamation of 1763 created a border that was soon known as the proclamation line. The Proclamation line is splitting the British colonies on the Atlantic coast from the Native Americans coast west of the Appalachian Mountains. The Proclamation line failed.

    The Stamp Act of 1765 was the first internal tax raise by the British parliament directly on the American Colonists. The act in which imposed all merchants and lawyers to buy stamps for ships' papers and legal documents in the colonies. The stamp act is the cause of the sons of liberty rebellious actions.
  • Boston Massacre

    On march 5, 1770, on King Street in Boston a deadly riot known as The Boston Massacre occurred. More than 2,000 British soldiers establish themselves in the city of 16,000 colonists to try and enforce Britain's tax laws, like The Stamp Act and Townshend Acts. Some soldiers began firing and later when the smoke cleared , five colonists died and one of them was an African-American male named Crispus Attucks, and three were injured.

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest against the British that occured on Dec 16, 1773, at Griffin's Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. The Britain imposing of taxation without representation frustrated and angered the American colonists, the 342 chests of tea imported by the British East India Company was dumped into the harbor. Afterwards The Tea Act was imposed. The British revoked the taxes they imposed the colonists apart from the Tea tax.

    In 1764, Great Britain made series of actions directly aimed to raising revenue from its 13 American colonies. a lot of those actions ,included the Sugar Act,Stamp Act, and Townshend Acts, those acts channeled resentment between the colonists, who protested against the "taxation without representation." The Battles of Lexington and concord was fought on April 19, 1775, and knocked off the American Revolutionary War of 1775-83.
  • Valley Forge

    In the winter of 1777-1778 General George Washington's Continental Army saddled their six-months campset at Valley Forge, it was quit a turning point in the American Revolutionary War. The condition of the campset was scandalously cold and harsh and they were short of their provisions supplies that they ate trees, shoe leathers and horses. The upside of this trip is that they were better trained.

    Yorktown was the battlefield where the Americans won their Independence.The British won the war but the Americans won the battle. The British army lead by General Charles cornwallis surrendered in yorktown after 20 day of battle with the American army.

    In Paris, France on september 3, 1783 The Treaty of Paris 1783 was signed which ended the American Revolutionary War. American statesman Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and John Jay all negotiated the peace treaty representatives of King George III of Great Britain. American and British troops fought the last their last battle of the American Revolutionary War in yorktown, virginia where the British surrendered and the Americans won their Independence.
