In 1977 Michael Jordan tried out for varsity and didn't make it becasue he was too short. He grew 4 inches the next summer the next two seasons averaged 20 points and by his senior season 29.2 points, 11.6 rebounds and 10.1 assists. -
Michael Earns a Scholarship
MIcahel Jordan was offered a scholarship to the University of North Carolina in 1981. He majored in cultural geography. He went on to be named the ACC freshman of the year averaging 13.4 PPG. -
