Plane Ride
We left Fargo airport around five A.M and flew to Minneapolis. We then had to wait a couple of hours till our next flight and then left again for our vacation in Playa del Carmen. We flew with Delta so we got to watch movies on the plane ride! -
Arriving in Mexico
We had to wait for our shuttle to take us to our resort, and that sure took a while. When we got on our shuttle the ride was so crazy but fun at the same time. Those Mexicans do not know how to drive. We got to the resort with our friends and we had a Sandos, which is a signature drink they have for their resort. It is delicious! Later that night there were stations with souvenirs and gifts that we could buy, and we got a lot of deals out of them! -
Breakfast Deliciousness
At our resort, they had a buffet for each meal of the day. In the mornings we would go down and get fruit, pancakes, waffles, sausage, omelets, and different varieties of fruit juices they had. It was never ending and it was so good! -
Daytime routine
Usually when we woke up we went down to the beach and the beach bar and got a nice cool fruity drink to relax with. We played sand volleyball, went in the pool. One morning they even had a yoga class in the pool that we participated in. -
Concert time
Each night they had concerts for the people at the resort. The third night was a band that imitated Michael Jackson. It was a fun time with music, games, and drinks. We were all trying to guess if the lead singer was actually singing or lip singing so that was fun trying to figure out, too. I do believe they were lip singing. -
Water park fun
We went to an outdoor water park they had near the resort and rode on the slides. We ate nachos and hot dogs while suntanning when we got tired on the slides. -
Supper fun
We ate at a fancy restaurant and grabbed a whole bunch of random food from this buffet they had and all took turns eating different things. After that we went to go pet, and chase, the cats they had at the resort. It was a fun time! -
Dolphin Fun
On our last day of our trip we got to go swim with dolphins! We got to see them do tricks, and then the trainers had us do it with the dolphins as well. They had the dolphins wave at us, give us a kiss, and then two dolphins carried us by our feet and swim across the pool with us. It was one of the best days ever! -
Time to go home
We each had a Sandos drink on the way out to the bus. We rode the crazy bus ride back to the airport and packed up for the flight home. We had to wait a while for our flight but we made it safe and sound. -
Home
We landed in North Dakota really late and went to bed for school the next day. It was a fun trip but it was good to be back home with friends, family, and my pets again. Can't wait to go on another trip very sooner than later!
