Chile (1962)
In this World Cup the shirt was still the same green, with the shape of the neck being the only modification. With this jersey, Mexico achieved its first victory on June 7 against the Czechoslovakia team by a score of 3-1. This shirt is much better that the one in the last Word cup -
England 1966
Again the only modification to the sweater is the collar, as it returns to its original circle shape and would not go beyond the first phase again. The old shirt was much more comfortable than this -
MEXICO 1970
With a victory in the history of the World Cups, Mexico was chosen to host this World Cup with the slogan of obtaining good results before its people. Germany (2006)
The Nike brand first became interested in the Mexican National Team in 2003 and was its official sponsor during the World Cup in European lands. The Mexico shirt changed style with a V-shaped figure on the chest that included pre-Hispanic images. The detail of the typography simulating that of the 1970 World Cup highlighted this model.
