    Early months of 1810 (Initiation)
    Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Juan Aldama, and Ignacio Allende had the initiation to have independence from Spaniards. They had secret meetings to plan their revolt against spanish government, they called them “literary clubs” where they actually discussed their plan. This was an important event since it is what created impulse and decision to actually accomplish an independence movement against the unfair rule of the Spanish.

    The Plan Gets Revealed (Resistance)
    The secret plan of the revolt gets to Spanish generals, so now they know what is about to happen. Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez is the first one to know about this and warns the others and tells them to change the revolt date before they capture them. Even though they capture Josefa she showed resistance as she refused to cooperate and give out the names of the others involved. This was an important event since it was the first problem people faced on their way to achieve independence.

    Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla encouraged the people of Dolores Hidalgo to revolt against the Spanish and find their Independence with the Grito de Dolores, giving the people consolidation and strength to start heading to San Miguel de Allende. This was an important event since it was the start, it was the beginning of the independence movement.

    Miguel Hidalgo and Allendes rebel army captured the granary in Guanajuato. Most of the Spaniards and Criollos were massacred or exiled. El Pipila burned down the main door and lead the indians into the granary. This was an important event since It was one of the first battles the indians had against the spaniards.

    Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende's insurgent troops encountered Spanish resistance at the Battle of Monte de las Cruces, fought them and achieved victory. This was an important event since it was a battle won by the Indian army that was lead by Miguel Hidalgo.

    The Battle of Calderón Bridge. It was fought on the banks of the Calderón River east of Guadalajara. It was commanded by Miguel Hidalgo, Ignacio Allende, Juan Aldama and Mariano Abasolo. This was an important event since it was the last battle that Miguel Hidalgo lead before he was captured and executed.

    Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla is captured and executed. Jose Maria Morelos takes control of the revolution. This was an important event since it was the ending of an important character that was involved in the independence and the beginning of another character.

    The Battle of Temalaca was a battle that occurred on 5 November, 1815 in the area around Temalaca, Puebla. Mexican troops were lead by Jose Maria Morelos and at the end of the battle, Morelos was captured by Spanish and he was soon after executed. This was an important event since it showed the lack of leadership Morelos had as a leader since he only lead one battle and was captured soon after it finished.

    The armies under Agustin de Iturbide and Guerrero were united into Iturbide's control in the Ejército de las Tres Garantías. This was an important event since it was the first time the armies were united to form the Ejército de las Tres Garantías. It was the first time Iturbides plan took action and succeeded.

    Independence At Last! (Consummation)
    On September 27 the Army of the Three Guarantees entered Mexico City and the following day Iturbide proclaimed the independence of the Mexican Empire, as New Spain was to be from now on called. After 11 years there was finally consummation. This was an important event since it was the end of the Independence movement, at last the Mexicans achieved their independence and got rid of spanish rule and their unfairness.
