  • Barbed wire

    Barbed wire
    Barbed wire was a product that was constantly being modified. Michael Kelly was the first successful person at creating a barbed wire fence. Later on Joseph Glidden, Jacob Haish, Isaac Ellwood, and Henry M. Rose helped in the modifying and producing the fence. The original reason the fence was created was because of the fact that wood and stones were scarce in the west. The fence was a very liked idea and more than one of the people who took part in inventing the fence started the business.
  • Zipper

    Zipper
    The zipper was firstly designed by Elias Howe (creator of the sewing machine) who saw the opportunity but never ran with it. Many years later Whitcomb L. Judson brings up the idea again and uses it for shoes. Although the zipper is still not a common word used to describe it the consent is very similar. Soon a man named Gideon Sundback modifies the idea.

    Nikola Tesla is a well known inventor. Some of his inventions included the Tesla coil, remote control and the ac motor. He invented because he was a good engineer he also was in a rivalry with Thomas Edison He got into repairing DC power plants which furthered him to make an ac brush-less motor .
