The American Revolution was when colonists part of The 13 Colonies were against British Rule. Britain had been taxing people too much and the colonists refused the extra taxes. This significant event lasted from 1765-1783. (No specific date) -
Boston Tea Party
This Event was almost like a protest but with bigger actions. Patriots dressed as Native Americans and jumped on a ship, and dumped Tea imported from India into The Boston harbour. -
Loyalist Migration
In 1783 100,000 Loyalists Migrated to Canada. Some went to Nova Scotia and some went to Quebec.
