Louis has slowed down the economic process in France. Louis did not like Huguenots religion which was protestants. They fled into the country. -
Prince William of Orange became king of England
Prince William joined the league of Augsburg, which consisted of leaders of multiple European countries. France was weakened by a poor harvest, which added to the war, so Louis had to raise the taxes in order to for all of the wars happening. -
