JFK getting assassinated! President John F. Kennedy is killed in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was shot twice, and hours later from the incident a guy named Lee Harvey was guilty of the crime. The United States vice president became the new president; his name was Lyndon Johnson. -

More on the act! President Lyndon finally signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This act made any discrimination in places like parks or hotels outlawed. It also made it illegal to have discrimination in the workplace based on race, religion, and beliefs. -

See Mount St. Helens Erupt! A widely dangerous eruption occurred from Mount St. Helens. This certain eruption was powerful, and killed about 57 people in its process. An earthquake triggered the mountain to erupt, and the eruption was so huge that it destroyed anything in its radius. -
