    Captains notes: Day one

    Captains notes: Day one
The men (crew members) are in fit shape and ready to go. The ship is clean, the decks are mopped, and the weather is clear. The baskets below deck are empty and we are en route from Barcelona, Spain to the coast of Brazil in the port of Salvador. The sails are open fully and there is a slight breeze to the east.

    Captians notes: Day twelve

    Captians notes: Day twelve
It is to what i believe day twelve of our voyage and we have slowly and solemly made it to Brazil. A few crew members have already lost their lives due to smallpox and accidents on the ship. One of my best crewman got pulled and crushed to death into the small hole in which the anchor tie is fed through. We have loaded up one-third of the ship with spices and will continue our voyage to Panama.

Captains notes: Day thirty three 2nd stop
the days are now somewhere in the thirties on our voyage. We have little food and almost no water. We made it to panama. More of the crew have lost their lives, more so to disease than accidents. Our next stop is Asia to the spice islands in a town called Manado.

Captains notes: Last day at sea
We have arrived at port and are unloading. Ive had my first meal in over a week just now and it was painful to eat. The men or whats left of them are heading home and they are happy to be. Now its time me to call this voyage to an end and leave for my family as well.
