    Importance

It is important to know what food labels are saying and what everything means because simple things can change someone's health greatly. It is important that the food label is correct and not false information. "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Federal Trade Commission are federal government agencies that help protect consumers from false or misleading health claims on the
internet." (iBook pg.2) Information coming from either of these two groups can be trusted.

    How To Evaluate

When looking at a food label there are many questions that should be asked, especially if the label is online. "The internet also allows
rapid and widespread distribution of false and misleading information." (iBook pg.2) Putting information on the internet is very easy and all facts should be confirmed by another site before being trusted. "You should carefully consider the source of information you
find on the internet and discuss that information with your healthcare provider." (iBook pg.2)
