Junior gets beat up
junior is scared that rowdy might get thrown in jail for vandalism so he runs. but he runs into the Andruss brother's camp. John,Jim, and Joe are the cruelest triplets ever. they started calling him names and playing catch with him. chapter 3 pg. 20- 21. -
Transferring to Reardan
after throwing the book at Mr P. and apologizing to him, Mr. P tells junior that he needs to leave the reservation so he doesn't end up a drunk going nowhere in life. chapter 7 pg. 45 -
Throws geometry book
he was mad because the book was at least thirty years old. the school was so poor and couldn't afford to buy new books so they had to use the books their parents used.chapter 4 pg. 29 -
junior gets punched
after asking to transfer to Reardan he goes to school the next day and finds rowdy and tells him that he's moving to Readan and it makes rowdy mad, then punched junior in the face. chapter8 pg.52 -
Junior punches Roger
junior learns all the unofficial and unwritten Spokane Indian rules of fisticuffs. he had memorized them and lived by them. none of the guys punched him or got violent. he was a reservation Indian and no matter how geeky and weak he appeared to be, he was still a potential killer. they mostly just called him names. roger and a few of his friends went up to junior and told him a joke, a really mean joke and it made junior made and he punched roger ing the face. -
first day at Reardan
juniors dad drove him to the School the first day, junior had to go the first day with a black eye thanks to rowdy. the white kids surrounded him. they all stared at him because he was Indian and different from them. chapter 9 pg.56 -
Meeting Penelope
after junior gets his paperwork he hustles to class, he paused at the door for a second and then walks in. everyone including the teacher stopped and stared at him. they stared at him like he was bad weather. he went to his seat and sat down and then a blond girl leaned over toward him and said her name was Penelope. chapter 8 pg. 58-59 -
grandma spirit dies
junior and his grandmother we very close and when she died it hurt him badly, and even though people didn't like him for moving schools they were nice to him because of the death of his grandmother. -
Eugene dies
Eugene was juniors dads friend and also very close to junior because he helped junior through a lot. he fixed juniors headed when someone threw a quarter at him during the basketball game against his old school. and Eugene even gave junior a ride to school one day so he wouldn't have to walk.
