On May 4, 1970, When students at Kent State University in Ohio protested about the Vietnam war, the Ohio National Guard went over there and opened fire and killed 4 and wounded 9. The students were Allison Krauss ,19 years old, Sandra Lee Scheuer, 20, Jeffery Glenn Miller,20, and William K Schroeder,19. -

Ted Bundy is an American serial killer that killed more than 30 people in seven states between 1974 and 1978. He was executed in an electric chair on January 24, 1989. He also decapitated at least 12 of his victims. He would sometimes impersonate as a police officer or a fire fighter to attract women.
People were scared of Bundy. They were scared of being alone at night and were scared to be going home late. It's unique because it's crazy that someone would do all of that to other people. -

Michael Jackson his a celebrity singer with cool songs. He released the album "Thriller" on November 30, 1982. Tons of people bought this album. It included songs Beat It,Thriller, Billie Jean, The girl is mine,etc... The production budget was $750,000. This event was the best because it made people happy and entertained people. It was a good album in his career and made people think he was a good singer. People were probably dancing because they had something to listen to. -

DNA first used to convict criminals
In 1987, DNA was first used to convict a rapist, Tommie Lee Andrew. He was sentenced to 22 years behind bars. It also helped the police with a double homicide case. A man made a false confession.
It helped people out and the police out with finding criminals. This event is cool because they started using it or how they use it. It was hard to find a criminal in the 80s but this made it way easier. People don't have to worry of the police not finding a criminal. -

On March 18, 1990, Thiefs dressed as cops. They entered into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. They stole thirteen paintings. One was A lady and gentlemen in black. This was the worst event ever. This heist was the biggest he is pulled. The museum lost lots of money. Michael Jordan retired in 1993. He was a very good basketball player. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls. Jordan received the rookie of the year award and was also selected for the all-star game. At the end of the 1992-93 season, two teenagers shot James Jordan during an apparent robbery. Michael Jordan retired to pursue baseball. He got back on the court in 1995. This event was important because a very good basketball player retired. People loved to watch him play. -

On September 11, 2001 the world trait center collapsed. At 9:59 A.M. the south tower collapsed, less than an hour after being hit by the second hijacked airliner, and at 10:28 A.M. the North tower collapse. floor, 23 police officers, 2 paramedics, 125 military and civilian deaths, and more including the hijackers. People were scared and upset. People had made many conspiracy theories like Bush did 911. People were also little too concern. This was a very cruel and messed up thing to do to people. It took 8 months to clean up all the debris.

It was a horrible day full of devastation and death. I would have helped with cleaning the debris and to try to help with the attacks. I would have tried to rescue civilians. I would've gone to this event because I want to witness it and be apart of the cleanup crew. -

This man was the first African American who served as president. Some people were happy. Other people were sad, but they all mostly respected him. He was also to be the first president to be born out of the state. -
