In America Strauss opened up his own dry goods and clothing company witch then his company started making very heavy duty pants now known as jeans in the 1870s.   • The Record

    The record was created by Thomas Alva Edison in America in the year of 1877. How the record worked is by a horn-like device onto a diaphragm, the diaphragm vibrates and then transmits the vibrations to the stylus (needle), which etched a helical groove onto a rotating cylinder. After that the record kept updating into something better. The record was used to playback sound and recordings.

    John Stith Pemberton was an American pharmacist born and raised in Georgia, and is best known for being the inventor of the famous drink Coca-Cola. Before all this started Pemberton fought in the Civil War, and at the end of the war he decided he wanted to invent something that would bring him commercial success because usually everything he made in pharmacies failed. Coco- Cola was invented to give people a fresh new drink that everyone would love witch made John a very successful man.

    Lewis Edson Waterman, born in Decatur, New York, was the inventor of the capillary feed fountain pen and the founder of the Waterman pen company. Lewis Edson Waterman founded his company in New York in 1883 with the invention of a new feeder. The pen was one of his biggest inventions and the reason why he created it is because the people needed something to write with, something that would be easy to use and thats exactly what he did and he became a success off of that.
