In 1997 Asia entered a financial crisis. it started in Thailand and went to south korea, china and hong kong. It started after thailand invested billion into it foreign reserves. It affected a good part of asia. -
September 11
September 11 2001, Osama Bin Laden had 2 panes crash into the World Trade Center. Thousands of Americans died and many got illnesses due from the dust they inhaled. there were more than 2 planes hijacked but only 2 of the planes hit there destination. This was the reason the U.S. declared war. -

they were sent to support the troops already there. they were also sent to try to put AL Qaeda to rest and find osama bin laden. even with the amount of troops sent the war still lasted many years. there are still troops there to this day. -
