PEOPLE'S CONFERENCE
The people's conference was held in Corowa, which is in New South Wales. This conferense agreed ‘the best interests, present and future prosperity of the Australian colonies will be promoted by their early federation’. -
PREMIER'S CONFERENCE HELD
In Hobart, a premier's confernce was held where most colonies agreed to Quick's proposal. -
ELECTIONS HELD
Elections were held for convention for delegates in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. -

FEDERATION CONVENTION
Seccond National Australiasian Convention where people met three times during 1987 and 1898. The conventions were held in Sydney and Melbourn. -
FIRST REFERENDUM
Referendums were held in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Asutralia was the first nation to take a preposed constitution to the people for approval. -
'SECRET' PERMIERS' CONFERENCE
Colonial Premiers privately met to find a way to bring out federation. John Forrest chose not to attend. -

SECCOND REFERENDUM
Referendums were held in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. The result was that all foru colonies agreed to the proposed constitution. Western Australia still refused to take part in the proposed constitution. -
AUSTRALIA BECAME A NATION
Australia became a nation when six British countries, which were, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
