    The Louisiana was first ran by the French. But then they were going into war and needed a way to get money. Thomas Jefferson wanted to buy the land since the Mississippi was closed because the french closed it. And the Americans use it for trade. So America bought it for about 3 cents an acre.

    After the Louisiana Purchase Thomas Jefferson and friends Lewis and Clark to explore the new land. He wanted them to come back with everything they discovered. During this journey they had some help from the Native Americans without them they would've not been to complete there journey.

He heard that on the way there that there was a short cut that would take 100 miles off there trip so they split off into two sections and he led that group. While on that trip they realized that it was adding miles to there trip. A little while later they were stranded because a wagon axle broke. and slowly ran out of food. Then a little while later turned to cannibalism.

    The Titanic was a luxury ship. Th ship sideswiped an iceberg. Out of the 2,400 passengers about 1,500 passengers died. about 60% of the First class passengers survived and about 42% of the second class and about 25% of the Third class passengers survived. When they hit the iceberg it took about three hours for the whole ship to go underwater.

  • The Attack of Pearl Harbor

    The Attack of Pearl Harbor
    A little before 8 a.m. hundreds of Japanese attacked an American naval base at Pearl Harbor. The attack lasted around two hours. The Japanese almost destroyed 20 navy vessels and 8 battleships and 300 airplanes. During that time more than 2,000 men died and a little over 1,000 wounded. Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war and with one voting session they were in World War II

    September 11th Four planes were stolen. Islamist's took the planes and flew them over the U.S. Two of the planes were crashed into he twin towers. The third plane crashed into the pentagon. The fourth plane was crashed into a field 80 miles from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
