Dahmer's Arrest
A victim managed to escape Dahmer's home and reach police. He lead the cops back to Dahmer's apartment. They found photos of dismembered victims and body parts in the refrigerator and freezer. Dahmer was caught red-handed and admitted to the multiple killings. He was immediately taken into custody. -

Dahmer is charged with four counts of homicide,
as a result of the police search through his apartment. Dahmer admits that his crimes are wrong and declined to shift blame. His bail is set for 1 million dollars. -
Protest
25 protesters said they want an independent investigation of the May 27 incident involving Dahmer. -
Pleaded Guilty
Dahmer entered a plea of guilty but insane in 15 of the 17 murders he claimed to have committed. -

There was a protest when the 14 Jurors that were selected because 13 of the individuals were white and only one was black. -

Jury's Decision
By 10-2 majority vote, a jury found Dahmer to be sane in each murder. Testimony from defense and prosecution experts took weeks and was extremely gruesome. -
Sentenced
Dahmer was sentenced to 15 consecutive life terms.
He later pled guilty to aggravated murder in Ohio, in the death of his first victim, Steven Hicks. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole. -
