    This is important because Jane goes to a place that changes her life for the better. Jane goes to Lowood and proves that Shen is not a bad kid. Jane has the chance to discover who she is and a chance for better education.

    Rodchester wants Jane to come to the party. Rodchester pretended to be a fortune teller and no one figured it out except for Jane. He told Jane to take ahold of what she wants in life but it turns Jane away from Rochester more.

    Bertha comes into janes room and rips her wedding veil off. This symbolizes berthas anger towards Rodchester.

    This is the day they get married. Jane and Rodchester were in the middle of the service when Mr. Mason interrupts. This leads to Jane not trusting Rodchester and leaving him.
  • Day Jane leaves

    Jane leaves in the middle of the night and doesn't have a lot of money. She left because she couldn't face Rodchester. This is important because it shows James characters.
  • Night Saint John says Jane is rich

    St. John comes to janes cottage and says her uncle did and left her a fortune. He left her 20,000 pounds and it changes janes world.
  • Saint John asks Jane to marry her

    Saint John wants Jane to go with him on a mission trip. John only wants Jane to marry him because she thinks that Jane will be a good missionaries wife. Jane sees his true colors.

    After the proposal with John Jane realizes how much she loves Rodchester. This proves janes everlasting love
