    It started because the people were tired of the monarchy and the conditions of life from that time. There where also a lot of difereces between the wealthy and the poor.
  • THE INTER-WAR PERIOD STARTS

    It was a period in between the end of the WW1 and the beginning of the WW2.
  • Fascism and Nazism

    Characteristics of totalitarianism:
     Authoritarian political system: the state and the government was controlled by one single political party with a charismatic leader who was believed to be infallible and had unlimited power.
     Economic and social control: These regimes maintained the capitalist economic system but the state strictly controlled the different economic sectors.
  • THE CRASH

    On 24 October 1929 (the “Black Thursday”), the New York Stock Exchange
    plummeted as the investors panicked and try to sell their stocks. The “Wall Street”
    collapse triggered the economic crisis of the 1930s.
  • ADOLF HITLER

    Adolf hitler won the elections with help of other parties. Once in power they derrocated the other government and destroyed the Weimar Republic. Hitlers ideology was based in racism.
