    Adolf Hitler's Rise to Power
    Adolf started his rise in World War 1 building a status of war hero. He then became an intelligience agent for the German diminished army. In-between WW1 and WW2 Germany was in an economic down turn the people of Germany were ready to get behind anyone who could give them answers. Adolf announced to the people of Germany that the "ultimate goal must definitely be the removal of all Jews altogether." He then rapidly jumped through the power rankings until eventually appointing himself Fuhrer.

    The Great Depression
    The Great Depression was the largest economic downturn ever. It was started by the stock markets collapsing in America on October 29th, 1929. All though it originated in America Countries like Great Britain and Germany were also put into economic turmoil. The Great Depression affect countries most in-debt. Leading the World into a reshuffle of the power rankings. Which is one of the reasons World War 2 happened.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt
    F.D.R. was appointed presidents because people believe he could get America out of the Great Depression. However no matter how hard he tried he could only put band-aids over the problem. It wasn't until World War II that brought America out of the Great Depression. Before Pearl Harbor America was split and some wanted to fight and some didn't but after Pearl Harbor FDR unified all of America through his Infamy speech. Getting the very different minded Congress to vote to declare war.

    Germans Invade Poland
    Poland was attacked by an unprovoked Germany. Which Germany easily took because of their new strategy. It was to bomb important defense assets and then send the troops in to minimize casualties in marathon of invasions that were about to take place. Great Britain and France were slow and hesitated to help making it an easy sweep for Germany. The Allies declared war on Germany after this attack marking the start of World War 2.

    Hitler sent three armies from the south, east and north. Germany had a man advantage however Hitler didn't take into account the harsh weather that plagued the under equipped Germans. Hitler did not allow his men to surrender so most died. This was important because of the opening of the eastern front before this invasion they keep to themselves.

    Pearl Harbor was the attack on America by the Japanese because America refused to continue trading oil with Japan to fuel the war against China. Pearl Harbor was an aerial attack sinking two battle ships and killing 2,400 people and wounding 1,200. Igniting America's rage which then unified America. Which was the biggest reason of why the U.S. wasn't going to war. After the attack every congress member except one peace activist was pro war. Later that day F.D.R. declared war against the Axis.

    Pearl Harbor
    Pearl Harbor was a strike by the Japan in hopes to threaten America and make them continue trading with Japan. The Japanese used bombers, fighters and torpedo planes to destroy American military assets. The Japanese's goal was to destroy as many destroyers, aircraft carriers and planes as they could. America took a huge hit from the attack on Pearl Harbor however it angered and motivated the US people into wanting to join the war. Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war later that day.

    Western allies launched the largest amphibious strike in history on Normandy located on the northern coast of France. The Allies had to cross the English channel and crawl under heavy machine gun fire to the cliffs. The Battle of Normandy destroyed Adolf Hitler's dream of Nazi dominance by breaching the Europe fortress. The attack was not all at once, the Allies used plans to bomb railroads and supply trucks to eliminate the ability for the Axis to get resources.

    Killing himself by gunshot. Adolf Hitler committing suicide took the last breath out of Germany. When Hitler died it released the people of Germany from their oaths of allegiance to him. Germany surrendered 7 days later.
  • Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bombing

    Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bombing
    Hiroshima was bombed on August 6, 1945 and Nagasaki was bombed 3 days later after Japan refused the terms of the unconditional surrender. America's goal of bombing Japan was not to kill people but to force Japan to surrender. This was the only time nuclear weapons were used in warfare.
