    This was started when troops from both sides met at the Rio Grande river. Mexican troops opened fired first and as a result started a war, however Mexico was not properly prepared for war and lost.

    This is the considered the most restrictive immagration bill to be ever signed at the time. This bill had forced immagrants to carry officail paper work. In Arizona this allowed Border patrol to check anyone they suspect were undocumented. Many argued that this was a form of discrimination.
