The US president broke with diplomatic norms to use his speech at a Nato meeting in Brussels to directly castigate 23 of the 28 members for failing to spend enough on defence, leaving the “taxpayers of the United States” to pick up the tab.

President Donald Trump, in his first response to Russia's decision to expel hundreds of American diplomats from the country, said he wanted to thank Russian President Vladimir Putin because the United States is "trying to cut down our payroll." -
Military option for Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro
"We have troops all over the world in places that are very far away. Venezuela is not very far away and the people are suffering and they're dying," he said. "We have many options for Venezuela including a possible military option if necessary," Trump told reporters.
Trump has previously attacked Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for his power grabs, describing him as a "dictator." But a military intervention would be an extraordinary escalation. -

Iran violating nuclear agreement
President Donald Trump on Friday threatened to pull out of a deal freezing and reversing Iran's nuclear program if Congress and US allies do not agree to strengthen it, as he unveiled a tough and comprehensive new policy toward the Islamic Republic.
Trump accused Iran of committing "multiple violations of the agreement," despite the fact that the International Atomic Energy Agency, America's European allies and even his own government. -
What about Obamacare?
Trump changed that system in two ways.
First, he signed an executive order to allow health insurers to sell loosely regulated, cheap plans outside the marketplaces. These are called “association health plans”.Second, Trump decided not to fund the subsidies the government gives insurance companies under Obamacare to make health insurance less expensive for low-income people.
