    A political group that Hitler was part of and lead. This affected all German people by changing their politics, and political views.
  • Hitler Claims Emergency Powers

    An act that was passed by Germany that gave Hitler complete and absolute power. This would go on to affect many many people, by killing many, torturing many, and starting war.
  • Boycott of Jewish Businesses

    Germans boycott Jewish businesses. One of the first signs of segregation and hatred of Jews. This affected all Jews economically, and angered them.
  • Law for the Prevention of Hereditary Diseases

    This law stated that people Germany deemed to have a "hereditary disease" would be forced to be sterilized. This effected all people that had a "hereditary disease" by not allowing them to have children.
  • Law against Dangerous Habitual Criminals

    Law that Germany passed to allow them to imprison "habitual criminals" if they are deemed "dangerous". Affected anyone deemed a "habitual criminal" by (often unfairly) imprisoning them.
  • Nuremberg Laws

    A set of anti semitic laws that prohibited Jews from doing some things, and forced them to do others. Negatively affected Jews in many ways.
  • Nazi’s Occupy Rhineland

    Occured in March of 1936. Hitler sends troops into a region called Rhineland, violating the Treaty of Versailles. This affected many surrounding countries by alerting them that Germany was mobilizing.
  • Reichszentrale is created

    A German organization that combated homosexuality and abortion. Affected anyone who was homosexual or supported abortion by discriminating against them and making their lives harder.
  • Kristallnacht/The Night of Broken Glass

    A night that many Jewish businesses, homes, and synagogues were ransacked. This affected all Jews by angering them and letting them realize that they were hated by Germans.
  • Yellow Star for German Jews

    Germany forced Jews to wear a yellow star on their clothes. Affected Jews by physiologically draining and breaking them.
  • St. Louis Ship (with Jews)

    A large cruise ship filled with Jewish refuges going to the United States. Left from Hamburg, Germany. This affected many Jews by giving them the opportunity for a new, free, life.
  • Germany invades Poland

    Germany uses blitzkrieg warfare to capture Poland. This marks the start of WW2. This affected Poland by killing many people and soldiers, as well as giving up all power and land to Germany.
  • Auschwitz opens

    The camp Auschwitz opened. This affected everyone who was not "Aryan", particularly Jews, by imprisoning and killing many of them.
  • Lodz Ghetto Opens

    Happened in early February, 1940. This was a ghetto for Jews and Roma people established by Germany in Poland. Affected Jews and Roma people by forcing them out of their homes, and into slums.
  • Madagascar Plan presented

    Presented in summer of 1940. This was a German idea to deport all European Jews to Madagascar. Affected Jews, but only physcologically because the plan was never actually carried out.
  • The Commisair Order

    This was an order that stated that all Russian political leaders captured during the war were to be executed. This affected Russians by killing many of their important leaders and popular political figures.
  • Einsatzgruppen starts

    These were death/shooting squads that carried out mass killings, most commonly of Jews. This affected all minority groups targeted by Nazis by killing them.
  • Babi Yar

    A creek where many thousands of Jews were machine gunned to death and buried alive. Affected the Jewish people by killing them.
  • Last Gassing at Auschwitz

    Occured in December of 1942. This marks the last time anyone was gassed in Auschwitz. This affected all people who were in Auschwitz, because they did not get gassed.
  • Wannsee Conference

    A conference to discuss what would be done with all the Jews, and how they would be killed. This affected the Jews by determining the outcome of many of their lives.
  • Creation of the Zigeunerlager

    This was the creation of a Gypsy camp in Auschwitz. This affected the Gypsies by forcing more of them into this camp.
  • Dr Josef Mengele arrives at Auschwitz

    Mengele arrived in Auschwitz and begins his experiments shortly. This affected prisoners who were chosen to be experimented on, particularly twins.
  • Himmler Orders Liquidation of ghettos

    Himmler liquidates all ghettos, sending everyone living there to concentration camps. This affected all people living in these ghettos. (Mostly Jews)
  • Himmler Orders Destruction of Auschwitz

    Himmler orders Auschwitz to by destroyed as an attempt to cover up evidence of mass killing as Russia approaches. Affected everyone who had been in Auschwitz and their families by Germany initially not getting blamed for doing all they did.
  • Liberation of Auschwitz

    Russia liberates Auschwitz but before they can get there, 60,000+ prisoners are led on a "death march". This effected all who were in Auschwitz at the time by setting them free.
  • Hitler Commits Suicide

    In his airaid bunker, Hitler commits suicide by consuming cyanide, then shooting himself. This affected all the people that Hitler ever affected by giving them a sense of relief.
  • International Military Tribunal

    A trial in Nuremberg, Germany where many Nazi officials were charged with their war crimes. This affects all groups that were done wrong by the Nazis by giving them relief.
  • Adolf Eichmann captured

    Eichmann was captured in Argentina. This affected everyone who Eichmann ever harmed by providing relief.
  • Dr Josef Mengele Dies

    Dr. Mengele dies of a stroke while swimming in Argentina. This affected everyone the doctor harmed and their families by providing them relief.
