First Microprosessor

The first microprossor was invented by Marcian Hoff, Stanley Mazor, and Masatoshi Shima. The microprocessor is a multipurpose, programmable device that accepts digital data as input, processes it according to its memory, and provides results.

Apple Computers

Apr 1, 1976

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak start their company Apple Computers and release "Apple 1" the first ever computer with a single-circuit board.

IBM Personal Computer

Aug 12, 1981

The first IBM Personal Computer, model number 5150, was introduced. It used Microsoft's DOS opertating system and included an Intel chip, an optional color monitor and two floppy disks. It was also the first computer available through outside distributers.

Windows

Nov 20, 1985

Windows is a personal computer operating environment developed by Microsoft. It is a graphical, 16-bit multi-tasking shell providing an environment which can run programs designed for Windows, as well as MS-DOS software.Microsoft released this in responce Apple 's operating system to try to compete with them.

Pentium Microprocessor

Mar 22, 1993

Intel announces Penium microchip, which allowed microprocessors to process two separate instructions in a single cycle. It also advanced the use of graphics and music on a PC.

Google

Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google is a search engine that will obtain any information on the World Wide Web.

YouTube Founded

YouTube, a video sharing service, is founded in San Mateo California by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim. This expanded the Interent and was the first site that allowed people to connect to each other around the world.

First iPhone

The first iPhone was released by Apple. It is a smartphone that features quad-band GSM cellular connectivity with GPRS and EDGE support for data transfer.

Kc's first iPhone

Receieving my first iPhone 4s impacted my life in both good and bad ways. It helped me search things on the web wherever i was and kept me occupied on socail media when i would get bored. However, since the day i got my iPhone, I've been attatched to it and never put it down. In some ways, this can be bad because things like texting can limit face to face conversation with people. Recieving my first iPhone was significant to me because it can basically help me in any bad situation.

Receiving my MacBook Pro

For my 8th grade graduation in June 2014 my parents bought me my first computer, Apple's MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro is a highly advanced computer with retina display and many hi-tec features. This event was significant in my life because it has allowed me to connect to the world of technology. It has also helped me with school work and various projects as well.
